White Glycerin Soap Base

White Soap Base contains glycerin, is white in color, and provides color permanence even after high temperatures over a long period of time. As its name suggests, this product simply needs to be melted to a liquid and poured into a soap tray of your choice.  It can be formulated with essential or fragrance oils, molded as desired, and colorings may be added to create a wide range of unique soap bar products.  Melt and pour soap bases containing glycerin have great foaming capabilities and leave the skin feeling soft and nourished.

Usage:

A two pound brick can make between 10 - 20 soaps, depending on the size of the soap you're trying to make.

Ingredients:

Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Stearic Acid, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Myristic Acid, Lauric Acid, Titanium Dioxide.

Caution:

When making soaps it is good to remember that the Melt & Pour Bases contain water as part of the formula. So if they are left exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate and the bar of soap will shrink. We would recommend fully wrapping the ENTIRE soap bar as soon as it is poured and cooled--this should minimize/eliminate any shrinkage.
